Every spring I find myself in a creative rutt. Where my brain feels like a big ball of melted cheese. After the long winter I try to force myself to kick start it into wedding gear.
Well this spring I didn’t have to. My good friend Trisha Pasnak, a local Edmonton designer allowed me to shoot some looks for a competition she was entering. This is when I first laid eyes on the dress in this shoot. My brain was going a mile a minute about what I could do. I knew who the model had to be, the hair, the makeup and the florals. It all just FIT together so well! A big thank you to Daisy, our model, for putting up with our crazy schedules, asking her to model on a ladder and being chewed alive by mosquitos. Daisy you’re such a beautiful girl and you made this shoot possible!
I love being able to work with talented individuals in Edmonton, and for anyone who doesn’t know who Trisha Pasnak is, let me tell you! This girl is beyond gifted, she can do high fashion, bridal and your every day beach cover up. She has no limits when it comes to her creativity, and if you are ever looking for custom work I highly suggest you contact her. I have been extremely blessed to photograph her designs a few times. Each and every new collection she show cases is stunning.
If you’re interested in seeing Trisha’s work, be sure to check out https://www.facebook.com/trishapasnak – including a show coming up in late August. Get out and support your local designers!
