Erin and Owen are you small town, rodeo loving, farm working, bale -tossing super in love couple. I get a lot of small town weddings and I absolutely adore them. I feel always at home when I am doing these weddings – I love being able to shoot big city weddings and then travel to the country to capture small intimate ceremonies. This is the first wedding where I saw a bride get lifted into an old barn, which we all thought would tip over, where I tried to bribe the bride into giving me a piece of rusted old junk as photography prop (she didn’t believe I wanted it) – also the first wedding the groomsmen actually had to chase cows out of our photography spot. Needless to say we had a blast – they also gave us a beer!
They’re a couple who goes together like peas and carrots and are such a good time. We laughed non-stop with this couple and bridal party. I loved how Erin transformed into the Princess Bride from being your typical jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. She incorporated beautiful pops of colour with sunflowers, added elements of elegance with her tiara and veil. Truthfully it was a beautiful wedding with so many personal touches, including the homemade honey handed out as their favours. Truly was a beautiful and wonderful day. Thank you for having us!
