The morning of Marc and Kirsten’s engagement session it was cold, rainy and we had hurricane strength winds. I was not impressed and we pondered the idea of rescheduling. But with a hair appointment to make we decided to just go for it and I am so happy we did. We drove out and met Kirsten and Marc at Kirsten’s family farm. It was beautiful. It was filled with locations and details that I can only dream of trespassing onto some day (kidding, we always try to get permission first). Either way, it was a photographer haven and we were given two beautiful people to work with.

Kirsten and Marc, not sure what to say – other than we had such a blast and you’re such beautiful people inside and out. You were up for everything and it was awesome the amount of trust and faith you had in my hair brained ideas. I can not wait to photograph your wedding next summer in Canmore, as Kirsten you are going to make one stunning bride. The day will be here before I know it, and I honestly can not wait!

I tried to keep my editing to three different styles as I was always torn between a more vintage editing feel, and the strong pops of colour. Either way you both have the best eyes, and it was so fun to photograph those bright blue eyes. Enjoy this small peak into their session!
