When I met Mike and Heather for the first time we sat and chatted for hours. Something just clicked, we had a ton in common and honestly all we could do was laugh. We photographed their engagement session in the corn fields last summer and again, insert hours of laughter where literally my cheeks hurt. They are so easy going, fun and relaxed. They were the perfect couple for us.
I’m not sure why but I thought maybe it would be a bit more chaotic the day of the wedding – nope. Heather was so relaxed, calm and happy. Today was the big day and months upon months of planning were finally over. The guys kicked back and enjoyed a few games of pool, accompanied by a few ice cold beer before the big day.
They said their ‘I do’s’ over looking the North Saskatchewan river which was absolutely stunning. No wedding of mine would be complete without a little bit of rushed photography to evade the oncoming monsoon rain clouds. They made for a stunning backdrop for their images.
Mike and Heather – I can’t thank you enough for having me be apart of your day. The entire day was an absolute riot filled with a ton of laughter. You’re two of the kindest people I have ever met, and it was wonderful to meet two people so incredibly in love. Thank you so much!
