I traveled to the home of Jeremy and Laura for their engagement session, nearly a year before their wedding. It was special to be back when the canola was bright and crops were high. I knew the first time I seen this spot that it would be a very special day.
Jeremy and Laura have one of the most unique stories I have ever heard; from how they met, how they fell in love and just the fact they both are Two Hills locals, born and raised. There was no question that this entire day was emotional for many, and family is very important to them both.
Over looking the rolling hills, this gorgeous couple exchanged vows surrounded by close family and friends. What made it even more special was the fact it was on their own front yard. Not many people can say they were married in the back yard. The views were stunning; the florals popped against the green. It was breath taking.
I was so excited to tell more of their love story with canola as the back drop; including a brave bride who was able to pop through a barbed fence to get that shot. The bridal party was a hoot, and we ended photos with a quick stop to the spot of this couple’s first date. It all had meaning; it was all so special to them both.
Thank you again Laura and Jeremy, your wedding was hilarious, sentimental and brought us to tears (literally). I wish you both many years of happiness!
