I knew from the minute I sat down and chatted with Laura that I was going to love her wedding. A big Italian wedding, including a mafia! How could I ever ask for more?
They were married at St. Joesph’s Basilica in down town Edmonton, where Laura walked down the aisle, veil covering her face to a very happy Dexter. The ceremony was soaking in tradition which made it even more special for these two. I loved the dresses all the girls wore, with one shoulder filled with detail, they all looked beautiful. All of their florals were provided by Akiko Floral Artistry, and makeup by Mookie Salinas. Just a few of our favourite vendors.
We had such a fun time with this entire bridal party. Dexter and Laura trusted us enough to jet off after the bridal party photos to have just a few photos of them taken by themselves. The way these two looked at each other, how they cuddled, just *everything* – it made my day beyond easy. Nothing slowed them down. It was a day they have been waiting for, for a very long time.
The reception was held at the Delta South, and was simple but elegant; which is exactly how I would describe how these two are together.
Congratulations again Laura and Dexter – we wish you all the best for many years to come!
