Tracy found me on Instagram – I think that’s the first time a bride has ever found me through that form of social media. We hit it right off the bat – Tracy was polite and sweet and her only request was to have their engagement session during the cherry blossom season in Edmonton.
It was cherry blossom season before we knew it; and Tracy and Anthony drove up literally with less than a day’s notice. We only had about a week of the cherry blossoms and I was so happy we were able to capture them. I can honestly say it was one of the most magical, easy and beautiful engagement sessions I have ever photographed. It was so easy; and these two meshed together so well. Between laughter, intimate moments and an impromptu dance in the park the session ended on such a high note; it was hard to believe it could get better.
But it did.
A hint of pink in her gown, a braid and a flower crown – I knew that it was going to be a gorgeous wedding. Smiling from ear to ear Tracy walked down the aisle to her tearful groom, surrounded by family and friends on Anthony’s parents’ property. The property over looked scenic farm land to add the perfect rustic touch. Family flew far and wide to witness these two say their “I do’s” – and I don’t mean just a few hours, I mean Australia to England.
The formals portion of this wedding was incredible. We found a spot where the sun just cut through the trees and highlighted the bride and groom. Then a perfectly treed over path to finish off the photos of the two of them. It was hard to narrow down this wedding to show off just the high-lights. So brace yourself for one of our largest blog posts.
Thank you for having us Red Deer, Tracy; Anthony and your family! I loved being there!
