I absolutely adore small town weddings. I love the small churches filled with family history, the low key atmosphere and the brides that are just up for anything! Kate and Tristan are a couple I met a few years ago at a wedding in Mexico (where they met too! I consider myself good luck! Okay not really…) I was so excited when Kate reached out to me about her day in May. Her style, vision and decor blew me away. I was so excited when I walked into the salon that morning to see full length, full on sequinned gowns. My heart died and went to photographer heaven repeatedly this day.
Married by Tristan’s great grandmother in the family church? I know I couldn’t have thought of anything sweeter. They snuck out of the reception to jump a cattle fence for some gorgeous sunset images (Kate went through it, Tristan almost killed my second shooter; not really but it’s a funny inside story…Sorry Becky – it really was!).
Surrounded by family and friends, you could tell that this couple are deeply loved. Tristan and Kate; words cannot express how thankful I am to have been there to capture your day! I wish you both all the very best!
