One of the best parts of being a photographer is when you are asked to photograph so many weddings – typically one of the best days of a couple’s life. I was very fortunate when Mallory asked me. Except Mallory isn’t your typical bride for me – she is one of my best friends, and was one of my Bride’s maids for my weddings. Generally I am quite confident, and I know I can deliver what clients are after – however this time around I was nervous. This was one of my best friends, the love of her life, and the most important day of her life and I had better not screw it up. Don’t get me wrong, I take all weddings seriously – but for some reason when it’s someone you’ve known since Grade 4? it means a little bit more.
I don’t have to say much about these two – the photos speak for themselves. Since Mallory met Brandon she has been smitten, and as the title suggests, I think we all knew it was meant to be and when he popped the question it was romantic and truly fitting for the two of them. I am incredibly excited for this couple’s wedding this fall – nervous but excited. Nothing is more special then spending the day with someone you care about, and have known since grade school, to see her marry the man of her dreams. Love you guys, and happy you like them.
